What do we do?

Bristol Spaceworks provides a range of practical services and facilities to small and start up businesses wishing to establish themselves in the area. We currently operate four business centres in the inner city east side of Bristol with good access to local transport links and the city centre. We provide a range of types and sizes of workspace including offices, workshops, artist's studios and individual desks.

We offer a great package of affordable rents, extremely flexible terms and high quality management services to licensees in all our properties. This is a great opportunity for small businesses to be part of a wider business community sharing great facilities, giving access to resources, advice and networking events through our hub at Easton Business Centre.

We are a not for profit social enterprise which reinvests its income into promoting its social aims of improving the economic wealth and vitality of disadvantaged communities through supporting enterprise. Wherever possible we use local suppliers, many are actually our own licensees and through our events programme we promote networking opportunities with the wider business community.

The Business Centres:

Through our four business centres we offer a high quality package of managed workspace. We have a dedicated Business Centres Manager who looks after the day to day management of the centres and leads a team of customer focused reception, administration and maintenance staff. We currently offer the following package of services and we are working to ensure that all our centres are fully networked:

Easy in, easy out terms by license agreement (see section on our license agreement)
Reception and individual telephone answering service
Post and franking services
Broadband and IT support
Photocopying and fax
Heating, lighting and water included
Cleaning to communal areas
Buildings Supervisor/caretaker
Security
Recycling and waste management
Bike racks/bike storage
Access to tea/coffee making facilities

In addition we are currently developing a range of business support and advice services which can be arranged or accessed via the Network. We have a small but dedicated business development team working with partners and businesses to bring new services and opportunities to our licensees and other customers.

For individuals wanting to hire a single desk for their new business in a shared space with other new entrepreneurs we have a number of desk hire package options. Prices quoted are inclusive of business rates and we can offer extremely flexible weekly or monthly terms. There is full disabled access to virtually all areas within our business centres and good quality disabled facilities. We would certainly encourage disabled entrepreneurs to come and take a look at our facilities and check us out.

Property Management & Consultancy Service

Bristol Spaceworks now offers a management service to other not-for-profit and commercial landlords in the Bristol area. We have years of practical hands-on experience of developing, refurbishing and managing successful commercial spaces and are happy to work with any enterprising organization looking to get the most out of their property. We can offer a range of practical support, project management and consultancy in the following areas:

Property maintenance - helping you maintain your property in a healthy state so that you can get the most from it for you and your tenants
Sub-letting and marketing - providing affordable workspace suitable for small enterprises is a good way of generating income from your property and we show you how
Tenant support services - from call answering to business support services we can provide a range of cost effective services to your tenants
